Project overview
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) of Western Australia engaged Design and Analysis to deliver engineering certification services for passenger-facing signage across multiple train station sites. The project involves the structural review and certification of signage fabrication drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards and long-term durability requirements. Design and Analysis assessed each signage design for structural integrity, including footing verification, fixing methods, and material suitability.
D&A collaborated closely with the PTA Signage Team to address design clarifications and estimate the service life of signage structures, recommending inspection intervals to support ongoing asset management.
This project demonstrates Design and Analysis's expertise in transport infrastructure signage certification, structural compliance, and the delivery of safe and durable public assets.
